all about rachel

If you’re searching for a therapist who is invested in improving quality of life and establishing a foundation for years to come, look to Rachel. With Rachel, clients discover their personal power, unlock confidence and feel empowered to make meaningful career and social decisions.

Passionate about working with young professionals who are going through relationship issues, self-doubt, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, Rachel provides clients with comfort and ease.

Whether you’re starting a career, continuing on with advanced schooling, or moving in with a partner, this is a time of constant change and transition. Rachel understands, uncovers, and enables clients to put their best foot forward.

how she works

In session with her, you will do the necessary soul-searching to find meaning in your life and pursue the things that are important to you. Rachel is able to work alongside clients feeling lonely, lost, and overwhelmed to help turn their experiences into growth and new beginnings.

Through extensive career work in interpersonal skills, behavioral challenges, parent separation, and bereavement, this therapist is equipped with a true passion for working with people.

Clients can expect to get in touch with the things they value in life, so that they can start to feel like they are on the right path. On self-improvement in session, Rachel often says, “The goal is not to be better than another person, but to be better than your current self.”

As a previous clinician at CarePlus in an outpatient program, Rachel has guided many with a variety of mental health challenges including but not limited to bipolar disorder, depression and anxiety. This experience, doubled with her Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University, leaves clients feeling reassured, strong and empowered both in and out of session.

Transitioning into adulthood can be confusing and disheartening without the right therapist. Luckily, Rachel not only can empathize with these feelings, but equips clients with the tools needed to fix and affirm positive feelings within ourselves–about ourselves, our talents, our capabilities, our jobs, our relationships.
Rachel’s clients often email her upon getting promotions and good news, as they “can’t wait for their next session to tell her” all of the good that comes from working together. It’s not only experiencing a client’s lowest of lows, but joining in their most exciting and special moments that make Rachel’s job so fulfilling.

Kind WORDS FROM HER CLIENTS

i started therapy with rachel at a pivotal moment in my life

With her help, I have been able to become more aware of negative self-talk, labeling, and patterns of thought that I otherwise would not have realized. Most importantly, I've seen notable progress in my overall mental health, where I am no longer convinced that my depression will be something that sticks with me for the rest of my life.

rachel is so real and honest

She acknowledges a tough question but asks it anyway because it will only help me. Rachel has an amazing ability to ask me questions that really get me thinking. She is also such an incredible motivator, that her positive words have encouraged me to enact changes in my life that have improved my work/life balance, self-discovery, and relationships.
