Our program, in collaboration with prestigious institutions like New York University and Columbia University, offers an unparalleled blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the vibrant heart of New York City. Whether you aspire to excel in private practice or wish to make a significant impact in various clinical, client-facing roles in the social work field, our fellowship is the gateway to a fulfilling and successful career.
Manhattan Wellness has partnered with local, prestigious institutions to establish our one-year Advanced Clinical Fellowship Program, which provides quality field-placement instruction for qualified candidates. Fellows who complete our program are prepared for a successful career in both private practice or any clinical, client-facing role in the social work field.
Our fellowship program is open to advanced standing second year social work and mental health counseling graduate students. The program, which runs from September through May, is designed to function in parallel to the school year; however, Manhattan Wellness can be flexible on program timing for the right candidate if clinically appropriate. This is a hybrid position, and all fellows are required to have one weekly in-person clinical day at our Flatiron office located at 156 5th Avenue.
Fellows who have demonstrated a level of excellence after successfully completing the program may have the opportunity to apply for an associate therapist position, which includes competitive pay, supervision and benefits.
