At Manhattan Wellness, we understand that anxiety can make everything feel as if it is out of your comfort zone and your control. We want to help you feel empowered and in control of your own life, regardless of the anxieties or worries that come your way. Our therapists have worked with many individuals who have anxiety. Before therapy for anxiety, they were so focused on what had or could go wrong. After therapy, they felt more confident and were able to actually enjoy the present moment without worrying about what could happen next.

What therapy is not…

Therapy does not have to be reserved for times of crisis. In fact, it can help make those bigger challenges that come along easier to move through.

Therapy is not a “quick fix” although it can provide coping mechanisms for challenges you are facing that can be applied as soon as you learn them.
